After building upon years of experience in New York, Venezuelan violinist, conductor, and educator, Alí Bello has distinguished himself for his versatility among different music styles, in addition to his well-found classical training and multidimensional improvisational skills.
His talents and credits stretch beyond the realm of classical music, including jazz, pop, R&B, middle Eastern, flamenco, and especially the many styles of South American music ‐ erasing the boundaries between classical, jazz and folkloric genres. He has recorded, performed, toured, and collaborated with music figures that range from Paquito D’Rivera to Jay‐Z as well as performed in festivals and music venues around the world.
He could be seen leading his own group, the Sweet Wire Band, which albums have been reviewed as one of the Top 50 Jazz CD’s of the Year by JazzTimes Magazine and also maintaining an active schedule as an educator and conductor
leading the Multicultural Music Orchestra. An ensemble that dedicates its repertoire to the discovery and premier of contemporary orchestral works.
