Katie GrazierKatie Grazier co-founded Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) alongside Russ Grazier and Wendell Purrington in 2002 after a varied background working in corporate and non-profit sectors. Her nonprofit experience started by working with the administrative team at SPARC –School of Performing Arts in the Richmond Community alongside her mentor, Jeri Cutler-Voltz.

The highlight of Katie’s corporate background included working for Franklin Covey – a leader in time management solutions. At Franklin Covey, she received awards for management and customer service excellence. Katie currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for PMAC with over 1,000 students per year and 60+ teaching artists and staff. She enjoys her ‘behind the scenes’ role in making sure that PMAC runs smoothly.

Katie learned to play drum set as an adult and has played in a variety of settings from jazz to rock to blues. She joined her “local” New Horizons Band this past year and has been enjoying learning how to play concert percussion. At NEAMC, she is most excited to be a part of the administrative team to support our participants and return to the best part of Snow Pond - the percussion section! Katie lives in Portsmouth, NH with her husband, Russ, their two cats and enjoys spending time with her grown boys, their families and granddaughter.
